My front loading samsung washer doesn't run through the drain and spin cycle

Hi, there is a pressure switch which is connected to the outer drum via a length of tube, this tells the machine whether there is water in the drum or not, this can also get blocked which fools the machine into sensing there is still water in the drum when there isn't, remove and unblock this tube and this should fix your problem, because the machine won't allow the normal program to go into spin if it thinks there is still water in the drum.

My nec nwtl456 washing machine wont empty all water when spin complete anoying is it the pump or?

Is this a new fault or has it always done this? What's the water stream like while pumping out, but before the spin cycle? Noticed any changes? Can you tell if the pump is still working during the spin cycle (hard to tell by listening but try). It should still be pumping during the spin cycle. Sadly for you, reviews of this model are not too complimentary, and help requests cover a variety of faults. Looks like it may be a bit of a lemon.

If the pump is still running during spin, a possible (likely?) fault cause is a damaged impeller, which would make it pump adequately during the main drain cycle, but lose pumping ability rapidly as soon as there was not much more water to pump, and the backflow leakage rate equalled the rate of water collection at the pump inlet. As well, in that scenario, any water still in the drain line would flow back into the drum as soon as the cycle finished.

Samsung WF7700N6W1 washing machine not draining

Could be a sock or something between the 2 drums that moves over the outlet hole from the drum when upright and trying to drain but moves away when machine is on its side. Get a flashlight and look through the holes in the inner drum and you may find the culprit.
A coin may also be stuck in by the pump blade, not always easy to see but worth a look.

My washing machine won't spin. i've cleaned the water hose filter and the pump filtre.

Hi eddyloz2000,

I believe your drain pump filter is just clogged. The drain pump is trying to pump the water out before the Spin cycle, but can't. Usually this is caused by a foreign object that is obstructing the impeller. See my tip on how to access, drain & clean the Drain Pump Filter:

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER

After this, the Spin cycle will run, after the drainage procedure. If it does not, then you may need to replace the Drain Motor. Which is a easy task.

Kind Regards :-)

The washer goes into spin cycle but the water will not pump out. I've checked the fuse and it is good.

hi there......if the water will not pump out its a fair bet you got a problem with the drain pump.....first open and clean out the filter unit...then try drain cycle on machine...ok....if not ok...remove and check drain pump for blockage....remove bottom hose to drain pump from machine and check for blockage in the hose and also for blockage in drum...sock etc...reassemble and all should be well again

GE Profile Harmony Top Load Washer - Won't drain

After more thought, it dawned on me another possible reason. In my case, the washer is draining water, but it keeps cycling the pump on and off, thinking that the pump isn't working properly, and the washer doesn't go into its high-speed spin to eke the last bit of water out. It dawned on me that it could be that the pump is fine, but the sensor is lying, saying there is more water when there isn't.

I looked at the tube for the sensor, and noticed a small blockage of white soft stuff. I disconnected the sensor tube from the tub (in the back), managed to squeeze the blockage out, connected it back up, and now it all works fine (about 5 loads and I haven't seen the pump message)!

So if your pump is draining water successfully, but the washer keeps complaining and refuses to go into the high-speed spin, then perhaps this is your situation as well (or a bad sensor, etc.).

Note that I'm pretty sure the blockage is what ended up ruining my first pump. The blockage matches the color and consistency of the caulk/glue that was used to attach the sensor tube, so my suspicion is that too much was put on at the factory and ended up going into the tube, but not enough to cause problems initially. After several years of use and perhaps a bit of water mineral buildup, it finally became a full clog.

Finally, note that, as you may have guessed from the design of the machine, when you disconnect the hoses at the bottom, there's always a few cups or more of water in the two black hoses and the pump that it can't manage to push all the way to the drain.

Water runs during final spin cycle

You have a blockage in the drain pump. Remove the front panel to access the drain pump.
Bail the water from the tub.
Remove the hoses on the pump and clean out the lint or garment from the pump.

Water not draing away and machine is not spinning

Empty your machine manually by lowering the drain hose into a bowl or bucket. Then remove the kick plate and check the filter for blockages. Before replacing try the machine on drain to see if the pump is running, if problem persists there may be a blockage in the pipe from the drum to the pump.

Washing machine will not drain

The ball is part of the system. They float up when there is water in the washer and as it drains if go's down. It sounds to me you must have a blockage somewhere, if you know the pump is operating in the drain cycle. If your sure there is no blockage and the ump is working I would replace the pump. On electric pumps they may work but if the impeller is worn from something that got into the pump it will spin but not pump the water out. Hope this helps you.
