I am trying to transfer my pictures from my camera (Sony DSC-W55 Pink Digital Camera) to my computer and I cant seem to do that. When I try to take more pictures it says my memory stick is full but I cant transfer my pictures and i cant delete them. I can transfer the pictures from the camera but not the memory stick and I can delete the pictures on the camera but not the ones saved to my memory stick. Can you please help me to do this?

Thank you

Hi,
when you connect your camera to the PC.
look in My computer and find the drive ( camera ) probably shows as Drive F:/ G:/ H:/ I:/ or similar.
Right click and open, then copy to folder on desktop, named My-Pictures ( Or similar ) once you,ve copied your photos from memory card to desktop on PC. Format the memory-card. which will erase all data. ( Right Click Format )

This should solve your problem.

How do I hook up my sony DSC-W55 to my computer to upload pics?

The best way to upload pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

There are also plenty of photo catalog software packages out there, some free, some not, that can transfer and catalog your pictures so you can quickly find pictures from Susie's birthday party, for example. Just do a google search for "photo catalog software".

How do i tranfer pictures from internal to the memory stick on a sony w55 cybershot

Firstly go to Menu and select the appropriate files of pics that you want transferred. Then from the menu select Move. Then specify where you want them moved, ie, the memory card. And the files would be transferred to the memory card and removed from the camera memory. Also, you must set the camera such that in future it stores all pics to the memory card itself.

Charging camera

The camera should come with a removable Li-on battery which is charged with a special Li-on battery charger.

To download your pictures, depends on where they are stored. If they are stored on a memory card, try removing the card from the camera and putting it in a card reader to your computer. If it is on the internal memory of the camera, use a USB cable to transfer the data from the camera to the computer.

Transferring photo from computer to memory stick

Many cameras will not let you write to the card. Try using a card reader, which will make the memory card appear to the computer as a separate hard drive.

Internal memory

Hi,
Insert memory card in camera, go to camera menu, there is option Copy, select copy and transfer images from internal memory to memory stick.
2nd option is connect camera to computer by usb link without memory stick, go to my computer then removable disk, then picture folder, copy pictures and paste them on My Pictures.
Need further help, let me know.

Transferring pics

I think there is a copy to card option in your camera.

It would enable you to transfer pictures from internal memory to your SD card.

You may check the website of your Camera Manufacturer and download the English manual online.
