The laptop maybe be over heating and shutting down and will not boot up again until it has cooled down.
If this is the case then check the fan it maybe be faulty and check the fan/heatsink assembly, it maybe clogged with dust. If so remove the dust and vacuum to remove the dust from the heatsink fins.
Do an msconfig, check it in the safe mode, go to start delete all items from the startup folder, if no go the run malwarebytes in safe mode, its a virus
