Microwave no power

Have you tried turning off the power supply to the microwave ? If you haven't , then turn off power supply to the microwave at the power point , remove plug , wait for about 15 seconds , reconnect plug , turn power point switch on & hopefully that'll solve the problem . Advent camper microwave shows no power but when you open the door the light comes on and turn table turns but on power on the screen shows nothing

If your Electrolux microwave (EW30M055HS) has power but does not heat, often the possibilities include one of four culprits:

·Power Supply

·Plugged into GFI Outlet
·Faulty Control Panel
·Faulty Magnetron

I always recommend resetting your microwave first. You can do so by unplugging your appliance or flipping the circuit breaker for about 30 seconds and then turn your microwave back on. If your microwave stills does not heat or turn, I would recommend reaching out to a professional or alternatively, visit the manufacturer website for a comprehensive listing of appliance techs in your area.

Disconnect the microwave from the power source while the power is still out. If the microwave is a built-in, turn off the circuit breaker. Otherwise, unplug the microwave from the wall outlet. This prevents a power surge from damaging the magnetron tube when the power is restored.Turn on the circuit breaker or plug the microwave into the outlet only when you are sure that the power is permanently restored. If there are still storms in the area, the power may be disrupted again. Reset the clock on the microwave. Microwaves vary slightly on how to set the clock, but usually there is a clock button you press. Use the number pad to input the correct time and press the clock button again to set it. The problem is more than likely in the microprocessor control board, sometimes a bad relay, or poor solder points.

Yes, the door switches are not working correctly.
I would get it replaced.

Sounds like a blown fuse. Carefully remove the cover, and the fuse in directly behind the power cord on the top. Radioshack sells 15A ceramic replacements.

our microwave has power, turns on correctly but doesnt heat. It sounds like it is heating but it don't.

In microwave ovens, I have had the turn table motor unit become defective, or the power source to it has failed.
