Hi all, I am trying to wire a dm-452 echo / power mike to a cobra 29 ltd I've seemed to have lost the echo side of it. Does anyone know the correct wiring schematic? Shield, black, red, white, blue are the wires available. Thanks

I want to wire my superstar dm452 power echo mic to my realistic trc 465 am ssb and need to know what color goes to what pin?

its a 5 pin which all radshack radios are and they are all,99% anyway, wired the same . So take an old radshak mic apart at the plug and see how it is wired then experiment from there.

I have a cobra 148gtl with 5 pin side plug for mic.Im trying to wire a superstar dm 1000 echo mic to it,red, yellow, blue, white,& unsheilded wires dont know were they go.???????

ALLways start with ground. Find ground on radio pin with ohm meter. EVERY thing operates off ground. Once you find ground on radio....solder your ground wire on mike cord to corresponding # on mike jack. Once you have ground on proper pin then all else is elementary......use ohm meter to see which wires are TX and RX on mike.....last wire is audio wire.

How to wire a power echo mic up theres 5 wires and 4 oins

I suggest buying a 5 pin to 4 pin adapter. Ebay has them for $6. I would go chopping wires on the mic. Cobra 29 ltd is a nice radio. Have one myself.

Dm 452 microphone

this radio is made by PEIRCE SIMPSON and is wired like a cobra.
pin 1 shiels or ground
pin 2 is audio
pin 3 is transmit
pin 4 is recieve

shield is a bare wire wraped around the audio wire.i dont know the colors of the wires in the echo mic.the transmit wire will have contiuity with the shield wire when the mic is keyed that wiregoes to pin 3 . there should be 2 wires left. check these wires one at a time with the shield wire one will have contiunity . this wire will go to pin 4 recieve.the other wire will go with the shield wire on pin 1
this is the way you find how it wires. it will take an ohm meter to find whice wire goes where.
