Possible bearing failure but if only a year old, it should be under warranty. Check around the spin bowl for any foreign objects sticking through the tub. Perhaps a bra wire or nail , screw etc or something has come out and stuck in the tub.
Wood laminate flooring is never a good idea in areas that can get wet often. But, that being said, there should be leveling feet on the washer which should allow you to get it stable on the floor, if that's what your problem is. If your problem is that the washer tends to walk around the room when in the spin cycle, well that is partially due to the fact that washers often vibrate when they spin, especially when spinning large, bulky objects like quilts and comforters, that the feet on the bottom of washer are smooth plastic, and that smooth plastic feet don't stay in one place to well on wood laminate floors.
no there is no reset button.When you say off balance im thinking of a machine jumping around the floor if this is the case then something has come loose or the balance block has broken inside your machine.adrian;;;;
There is a safety switch on the lid ... when it went out of balance perhaps the adjustment changed or it got damaged (loose wire etc.) BE SURE TO PULL THE PLUG BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY REPAIRS
Plug off the mains. Open up the machine to look for defective shock-absorbers, broken springs, etc. You shd have done this much earlier, surely you're not walking around the house with a helmet.

I would have sears replace the washer and also replace all the damage in your house. If it pulled out the drain hose there could be damage in there, if they are not willing to replace the machine then they should run a thorough diagnostic to make sure EVERYTHING is in working order, and still replace what is damaged to your house
you can check for a broken/cracked/ dettached plastic hose leading from the back left side of tub to the pressure switch under the main console. usuall problem is it dry rots and cracks, or comes loose after shaking/vibrating,
