Flashing light re temperature in fridge jenn air model

The high temperature alarm or the red light indicator came on because the internal temp is high. This means that the temperature inside your appliance is still too warm. Keep your freezer/frig door closed and the light will go out in a few hours and you'll then be able to adjust temp or keep it as it was before defrosting.

If this is a frost free model, it could well be frozen up, or the circulation fan could be faulty.

on a fisher paykel I would call them direct, their help desk can walk you through some checks to see what the error is... if I needed service on this unit I would use who they suggest.. because if the servicer does not have access to the factory on FP HE IS GOING TO BE GUESSING WITH YOUR POCKETBOOK in hand... we work on FP everyday and we call often....... The thermostat is not registering temperature correctly. If you have thermistors they should be replaced

The refrigerator portion is fed cold air from freezer section to cool it. Check for the freezer fan and/or the damper mechanism that directs air into fridge compartment for proper operation.

Hi i have a jenn-air side by side ice & water dispenser and the ice & water bottons keep beeping and flashing, what does this mean

got a hot point iced diamond fridge/freezer, just got back off hols and red light on, all food defrosted with water running out of bottom. whats wrong?

If this is unresolved, can you tell me if the compressor runs? According to the Jen air manual I downloaded, you shud be able hear a number of sounds from the fridge, at different stages eg defrost, cooling etc. Obviously you checked the temperature controlls? Door seals Ok? Power,is the light on.. Even if there appears to be power, pls change the power outlet and run the fridge from a different source. Pls advise if you still have problems. Rgds,
