Try cleaning it out first. Make sure there is not a disc logged in there sometimes when they fall it can cause the cd to become off track. Make sure if it is you might have to open it up and take it out some how.

Is difficult to ques since the computer cuts the throttle if running in limp mode etc. Try a vag com error read and see if some sensor is the cause, if not then problem with injection.

To remove MS hardware which is a flimsy Pisces of metal that looks like an"X"
and replace it with screws washers and then and most importantly
screw down the heat sink under the cd drive turn it on let only the
G.P.U over heat ,takes about 10min for a units that hasn't been wrapped with
towels , those units that have been user damaged heat up much faster
reducing the chance of a reliable burn in.

u should get a new copy of the game . dat happend me before and dats wat hapend me . did u by any chance get dis game over the internet , well it normaly hapens wen u get a game overseas. if u got it in a shop nearby,den go and ask dem and see if they know wats wrong

Hey if you have a warranty nintendo might repair or raplace the Ds.I thought about replacing the charger or place the charger in another power outlet.I hope I helped.

You need a manual to calibrate the scanner do you have one?

There are some holes in the scanner that need to be calibrated with a tiny screwdriver. The manual teslls you the correct settings.
