Hi there,

Well you can follow the below steps -
1. Inspect the antenna for any signs of damage. Identify and examine the power adapter cord and the coaxial antenna cable for any rips tears or other defects.
2. Plug the adapter into the antenna's power adapter socket. It will be labeled "12V DC/Adapter". If you are using an antenna that does not require power, such as rabbit ears, you may skip this step.
3. Next connect the antenna cable to the television using the TV's "Antenna In/75 Ohm" input jack. Make sure the antenna connector is twisted tightly into place. Place the antenna on a sturdy surface such as the top of an entertainment center. If you have an older analog TV that is a non high definition ready/capable display and are using a digital to analog converter box, generally, the antenna will plug into the input of the converter and the output of the converter will plug into the antenna input of your TV.
4. Plug the antenna's power supply into a 120V AC wall outlet. This will turn the antenna on. If you are using the "rabbit ears" style antenna, make sure that the each section of the antenna is fully extended. This will give you the best reception.
5. Turn on the TV and check for digital reception. You will know that you are receiving digital signals because the picture will be clear and free of any analog "snow" or other artifacts. Digital TV channels have DVD quality picture and sound.

How to adjust the antennae to get signal uniden 538w

doesn't matter what kind of radio the procedure is the same.First you need an SWR meter.now hook it up properly and take a reading on channel 40 ,write it down then channel 1 , write it down.now channel 19 and write it down . If the number on 40 is higher than on 1 your antenna is long and it has to be adjusted take the allen wrench provided with the antenna and loosen the tip.Bring the tip down about 1/4 inch at a time checking both channel 40 and 1 as you do this . onnce you get a good match then you are ready to go.

Hook up to digital TV antenna indoor passive

Please check if the antennae is connected with right cable and the dipole is good. If so search the channels avaiilable and if there is no signal then it is possible that the TUNER is faulty. check using another TV with the same antennae or check the RF input using a VCR or TUNER.

Matsui VP 9501 0P VCR - Digital TV ready?

The converter boxes can hook right up to any vcr on the antennae in jack. They work just the same. I like using vcrs because you can hook up anything to them and then run it to tv. It's great!

Swr co phase issue

When two antennae are cophased the harness should be made from 75ohm cable and then connected at the "T" then 50ohm to the radio. The spacing between the antennae is critical to the pattern of radiation and resistance of the system. If they are not the proper space apart for the length of the harness, you will not be able to tune them.

Indoor antenna problem with Magnavox LCD TV Model 15MF605T/17

I have found most of these indoor antennae to be ineffective and a waste of money, however, I do not know anything about this particular antennae. I to have a Dish DTVpal, which I love! It's ugly and probably won't fit in your kitchen, but the best solution is to make your own "bow-tie" antennae, mount it indoors or on the roof and run a cable to the kitchen. Directions can be found on You-Tube. I live in SE Idaho (Pocatello) and can get 13 channels, most without having to adjust the antennae.

Hooking up a convertor , when i have a vcr, dvd player

You can hook it up through the antennae system. Keep your dvr connected to the tv the way you had it. Hook up your TV rabbit ears antennae to the converter box in the connection on the left side of the box. Then hook up the antennae lead from the converter box to your TV on the right side connector. The only thing I'm wondering is, do you get stereo sound this way and does anyone know how to get it without hooking up the separate audio and video plugs? There aren't enough connections on the tv to hook up both sets.
