Frozen player. Right now my MP3 player is frozen. It's stuck on the screen to choose what I'd like to access on the players. IE: Music, Options, Pictures.. that screen. I tried holding the button down to turn it off and that does nothing. About 2 weeks ago it messed up and all the buttons thought they were other buttons... it took a while but that problem finally fixed itself. I'm afraid that with it being stuck on the way it is the battery is going to drain completely and I wont be able to recharge it. (which is how I lost my last 4 MP3 players) I tried plugging it into the computer and its not registering. I don't want to hit the reset button unless I REALLY have to because not all my music is backed up on my computer hard drive. Please help soon, hopefully before the battery drains...

If your Sansa Fuze MP3 player becomes frozen or unresponsive, you may need to reset the unit.
To do so, simply slide and hold the Power button on the side of the unit. Hold it for about 10 seconds and the player should reset. If this does not work, I recommend plugging the device into a computer, or charger.
I have the 8gb Zen and I usually end up with a frozen screen when I upload music. I unplugged the Zen and then use a needle to reset the player. It located at the bottom right.
Hey Shaya,
Try this solution:
double click on my computer
right click on the Sansa icon
Choose Format.
This should release your snsa and allow you to upload music again and play it.
