I have a Gaggia syncrony compact coffee machine and the coffee grinder has jammed for the second time. The repair agent employed by Gaggia inform me that they have been waiting for spare parts from Gaggia...

If the grinder jammed it might have been because the grind was too fine, try adjusting coarser then using the + or - lever to add more coffee for proper extraction. To clear jam remove brew unit and locate door to grinder chamber on left, vac out grounds, also beans in hopper. When clean run grinder and set to coarser, then add small amount of beans and test.

Saeco Vienna grinds too much coffee.

Hi
If you have the Delux or Digital there are 2 knobs in the bean hopper. Turn the small knob back 1 mark and see if that will help.

First, have you tried adjusting the grinder to the finest setting, if yes and you still have the same problem the grinder needs adjustment, either the burrs are dull or the grinder needs to be set.

Machine doesnt produce coffee

Try this, your machine has a manual/coffee grounds input, press the button for that option and see if water flows from the coffee spouts, if yes then adjust the grind on the grinder to coarser, if it gives you a ventilate error, then one of the lines to the brew unit is blocked, nd you will have to run the descale again or open machine and find blocked line and clear.

Hi,

try to set the grinder to grind little more coarse, you have to make 2-3 cup to get the new settings to work.

To get off the ventilate you have to press the button for hot water and make a cup of water.

Hope this will help you.

Coffee jam

Are you getting any coffee at all? Sounds like your doser door/channel and grinder may be blocked by damp coffee. To remedy this situation, the grinder (and doser door/channel) would have to be cleaned. This is best done by an authorized SAECO Service Center. The coffee is comming out very slow (just drops). The display says to ventilate, but this doesn't help.

  • Increase your grinder size.
  • Normally it is 8.
  • Make sure to only change the grinder setting while the grinder is spinning.
  • Change only two numbers at a time then make three cups to see the results.
