The screen is messed up. You have to buy a new screen for about $70

50" Sansui Plasma stopped working

The clicks come from the power supply board, so it sounds like yours has failed. Time for a 50" LED 4K :>D

Hi i have a Vizio E470-A0 That wont turn on. I press the power button and it turns on for a second then fades or just cuts off.

Does your 12 volt remain at 12 after it shuts off or does it drop to 0?..This model was known for issues with the LED lamps themselves but Ive seen a number of sets where the LED's were fine and it was the power supply or main boards bad

Tv turns on but has a blank screen and nothing happens.

If you think the back light is working then check out the main board since you have no pic and no sound.

My iPhone 3GS backlight is not working and I've tried to reset it already

Go in to settings and adjust the back light there...turn it all the way up and see if anything happens
If nothing happens then head to a mac store.

Picture goes off tv!

It sounds like either the back light inverter board is going out or the power supply that supply the 24v for the backlight circuits is going out. Look for bad bulging capacitors first, this is typical problem for 4 years old set. I will not turn it on anymore becuase it can cause more damage if the power supply is going bad.

Please follow these instructions, should fix the hum issue:

2. Input mode should be tv
3. Turn volume to zero

5. A menu will appear on left side
6. Arrow down to backlight and with right arrow key move number from 81 to 83, press menu button twice,

Backlight issue with the Vista HCx

I called Garmin. This is "As Designed", so we are stuck with this. Annoying, but all you have to do after turning the unit on is:

1) Press Lower Right button twice
2) Press Upper Right button once

Unit will now behave as you directed until you turn it off

Wii turning on and can hear disc, but nothing coming on the TV

No sorry...ours is still out of commission. I basically did a LOT of reasearch only to find out there are a million other wii people out there with the same problem and No one has any kind of a answer that is even remotely helpful. All the common things ive tried and all the uncommon and unlikly things ive tried nothing has worked..Basically ive worked it out to Im just going to have to send it in to Nintendo..but that is going to cost me like 80$ or somthing like that..so for now it is just sitting on my desk..LOL..sorry i couldn't be of any help. But it seems that no one knows why this happens. Some people even reported having this issue after only having the system for a week. I think its just typical of the wii....(apparently anyways)

:o( sorry.
