sounds like you need a new watchmaker, Your watch is designed to be worn 16 hours a day an rested for 8 while you sleep and this should keep it running. there are several different mainsprings that can be installed depending on the age and your activity level. Make sure the dial that is used to set your watch is snug against the frame of the watch. Sometimes when people reset the time on their watches they don't push the dial all the way back in which will cause it to stop. If it is an intermitten problem it may be close but not all the way in. Some watches continue to run when they are being set; whereas, some stop when the dial is pulled to reset them.
