I have a RCA 25424RE1 4 line corded phone. We only us line 1 and line 2. Line 1 holds our voice messages. The light will not go off. It sounds as though the line is open somewhere. I have unplugged all the phones, left off and replugged. Still the light will not go off. I cannot retrieve my messages or use line 1. Can you give me any ideas where to look?

This did not help. I can't use line 1 to call or delete messages or receive messages. The line sounds open when the receiver is picked up, which means there is no dial tone. This is not a cell phone it is a office phone per the information above. Try again.

Hello,i guess the messages on the line one is kind of filled up,so all you need to do is just to make sure you delete all the messages you have on the line 1.after you have done this i believe the sound will go off.and if these problem should persist after you have done this,i will advise you contact your service provider to lay the complain to them and i strongly believe the problem will be solved.

thanks,you are highly appreciated.

How do I reset the message indicator light?

You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

How do I stop the red message light from blinking after I have received my messages

~*~*~ SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED! ~*~*~ After talking to both ATT and RCA with no success...I figured it out. ~*~*~ Plug your phone line into the "DATA PORT" on the back of the unit. Slide the "DATA PORT" switch to whichever line is showing it has a message. Press the corresponding Line# button on the front of the phone. (you should hear the dial tone) Dial your voice mail number. Let it answer, (enter your passcode if needed), then hang up! - That's it! example: MSG Waiting:L2 - I plugged the phone line into the Data Port and moved the data port switch to "2". I pressed LINE 2 on the front of the phone, dialed my voice mail number, it answered, I put in my passcode. (It said that I did not have any new voice mails), then hung up! That's it! Message Indicator light off!!! Repeat for each line that shows a (false) message waiting. ~~~Don't forget to move your phone line back into it's correct port on the back of your phone.~~~

I have a RCA 2-line corded visys speakerphone model 25201 and I need to set up voice message but can not find any instruction.

And you won't. The model you listed is just a phone, it is not an answering machine. You either have voice mail as part of your phone service, or you have another RCA system phone that is acting as the voice mail machine.

Here's the manual http://www.rca4business.com/products/pc/pdf/instruction-book/25201RE1.pdf

RCA executive series

No ringer could well be a setting and light on 2nd line means their is No 2nd line and most 2 to 4 lines phones at least require 2 active lines for the system to work correctly

If you are looking for a message on hold port, you will not find one. Technically speaking, this is not a phone "system." There are 2 options for using messages on hold with your phones:
1) Using a message on hold player with a built-in adapter
2) Using a message on hold player and a separate adapter

The best option can be a little tricky to determine. We work with hundreds of small businesses that have 2,3,4 line phones and can help you figure this out and deliver the best solution. Please call me.
