Lenovo 3000 c200 wont power on

Unit will not power up at all with or without the power supply plugged in. The power indicator light comes on for a second when the power on button is depresseed. The power indicator light then goes out. The unit does not power on.

Try to perform battery drain. you need to take out the battery and unplugged the power adapter. press and hold the power button and count 1-10. release the power buttong after 10. do it for 3 times. after that, plug in the adapter and power adapter and observe.

    No luck. Although this is the 2nd person to tell me to try holding the power button for a specific number of times. The last guy said to do it 11 times then hold it down for 30 seconds on the 11th. Any other thoughts???

I have the same laptop, its your hard drive. try removing the harddrive and see if it will boot to the bios.

Lenovo 3000 c200 battery light flashes and then turns off. Computer will power on and then cut off after a minute. Seems like battery is not charging.
try to perform powerdrain to your system. inorder to do this, your computer should be turned off. take out the battery and unplug the power adapter. press and hold the power button for 30secs. put the battery/adapter back in. power on the computer and observed if you will be getting the same issue.

3000 c200 is dead and wont start up even though there is power to ac adaptor (warm)
Remove the battery and try to start the laptop. If the battery is totally down it may cause an issue even though it isn't supposed to. Also, check the voltage at the plug that connects to the laptop. A short at the plug will give you a warm power adapter but no power to the laptop.
