    Identical problem I have. Help!

Exactly the same problem. Removing the rear access door, then gently shaking the printer to ensure nothing loose was trapped inside, did not solve the problem (nothing fell out).

I have the same problem and its annoying as heck!

I have the same problem from day 1. HP suggests a cleaning kit on their support page but when I click on it, it does not exist. Very unlike HP.

Make sure the back cover (black panel) is fully closed. If it is, remove the panel and shake gently to make sure nothing has fallen inside.

HP PSC 1500 series: printer says the "the cradle is jammed" tried tuning it on and off and adjusting the cradle. taking out the ink cartridges and putting them back in. nothing. Someone please help?

Did you check for a Paper jam? Even a little bit of paper can cause a jam and that is normally what your problem refers to.... using too thick of paper can cause this kind of error as well

HP PSC 1610 - Keep getting paper jam error with no paper jam.

Hi there ok Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
