How do I reset the voicemail for a toshiba dkt2010-sd phone. The person who originally had my extension is nolonger with the company and we can't figure out his voicemail password

Knowing what Toshibas system you have your DKT on would be helpful.

1st You need to know what port the voicemail is on. You might try 300 as it was a default on some of them.

Alternately you can try looking at the display on one that works as it may show you the port.

1. Enter your voicemail Code. This is like an extension which dials voicemail (mine is 750).
2. # *
3. 999 #
4. 999997 # (this is the default password, but it might have been changed. contact your phone company for the password)
5. 8
6. Follow the prompts. You will need the DN number for the phone. Also, select "Reset Security Code", not "Reset Mailbox". Resetting the mailbox will erase ALL data from the mailbox (voicemails, greetings, names, passwords).

Changing the time on a Strata DK system must be done from the "main" or primary phone. It is usually extension # 10, or # 200. 1.- With the phone on-hook, dial intercom, #, 652 (depending on the system type, the # may or may not apply) 2.- Enter the correct time using HH/MM/SS, like 07:24:00 3.- Press redial As far as the system manual goes, I'll need to know the type of system you have. Toshiba DKT2010's work with a number fo different Toshiba systems. To find out, go to where the phone system is located and look at the top corner. It should have a number designation there such as DK 40i or DK280 etc.

To transfer calls, while on call press Conf/Trn and dial extension number. To Call forward your call to another extension there are three codes depending on what type of forwarding #601 - #604. Your guides and manuals are here

if the password has not been changed it would be the extension followed by 997, i.e. password for mailbox 990 would be 990997 and 991 would be 991997, you can also log into mailbox 999 and assuming that password has not been changed and is 999997 you could go into admin mode and reset the mailbox security code for 990 or 991, hope that helps.

call the voice mail extension or get into voicemail in any way. when you hear a voice dial * then 999 then 999997 for security code or use 997. Press 8 for admin features and reset your box. Default codes are your extension number +997 or just 997. Here are your manuals

You did not say what kind of voicemail you have but since you have a DK16e I'll assume it is a Stratagy. The Company Greeting is usually split between mailboxes 990 and 991. MB 990 is the introduction ( Thank you for calling ABC Company) and MB 991 are the instructions ( If you know your parties extension please enter it now .... ). The Admin mailbox to set this up is 999 if you have three digit extension numbers and the default password is 999997#. If this password has been changed then you will have to get a local Toshiba dealer to help you as the password will have to be reset via a computer connected to the maintenance port of the voicemail. If you have a computer already set up to program the voicemail then that is where you will also take care of the Directory issues. OK, model on bottom of phone is DKT2010-SD, but I found a little cheat card in a file for a STRATA DK8 & DK16 so I used a combination of things. First pick up handset and then hit intercom button, # 652 (for time or #651 for date) and enter time in HHMMSS (hour, minute, second) format, once complete hit the redial button.

did you fix this yet
