Hello, I am in SA , for some reason my TV Picture was zoomed out ( think my little one was playing with the remote ) but now I struggling to bring it to normal size . Now I cannot even see the subtitles , I tried the zoomin/out on the remote control but that does not help at 100, as you can only zoom in to 100% and this does not sort out my problem . Is there a way maybe just to reset the settings to factory settings ....

If you checked in the tv menu and it's not zoomed in their then the issue might not be with the tv. If you are using a decoder check it to make sure it is not sending the picture to the tv already zoomed. Check the settings of your decoder or try hitting the # button on your remote, some products use that button to zoom the picture.
If the image on screen is zoomed both in vertical and horizontal direction, your TVs power regulator inside it is faulty. [Overvoltage]. If it is zoomed in vertical direction only, that is only the height of the picture is zoomed, you can adjust it with the remote control button directly on going through menu and get in to the function menu. Normally all TV remote has a special button marked as "Zoom" which on pressing it once the picture get zoomed, again another press the picture gets wide and again an another press picture will come to normal mode. You should select normal mode to retify the problem.
Use the Picture, Zoom, or Aspect button on the TV remote to cycle through the available screen sizes. You may also be able to set screen size in a Setup-Picture (or Video) menu.
It sounds like Ratio problem. It should be a button on your TV remote and or Cable TV box that will allow you to set the picture size to 4:3 Ratio, 16:9 or FULL Look at your manuals they use sveral terms, sometime they use picture, Zoom or Ratio.
Sometimes on a remote theirs a zoom button or HD zoom if you pressed that the tv will do what you describe if you press it again it will go back to normal view.
Normallly, if the picture size button on the remote for the television does not achieve the desired affect, then, a cable box or a satelite box is where the change needs to be made. For example: A Motorola Cable box needs to be set up to go to a wide screen or zoom when an analog signal is detected. Some DishNetwork boxes have Size buttons on their remotes and also in their main menu. It's difficult to determine the repair without knowing the types of the peripherals. Hope this helps.
