My yahoo is locked by netgear fire wall.How do i unblock it?

I want to unblock facebook. It is very interest to me. I would like to chat with my friend.

just turn your fire wall off then, try it ,then put your fire wall back on med.

• probably the gprs connection may have error in transfering
• put the antivirsus in system to on
• apply default fire wall settings

you will need to get into the firewall and look at the URL filter settings. If on windows, go to start, run and type cmd, then type ipconfig. the gateway is the address to plug into your browser. if it is locked you wll need the password.

I think you should check your firewall settings. If you use Personal Firewall, make sure it allows your connection to receiving incoming connections and allows you to use yahoo messenger, check it out, may be it blocked your yahoo messenger services. Check also your Windows Firewall. I thick this can be help u a little bit

The easiest way to do this without affecting the other computers is to access the Netgear interface and place your computer in the DMZ. You will probably need to know the IP Address of your computer, I cannot be more specific without knowing the exact model number of the Netgear.

type 192.168.1.1 in your internet browser address bar it should take you in to your router go to access and restrictions and click allow for yahoo click save and exit that should do it
