these dryers have alot of board problems i've seen them beep and then start up by themselves gotta love frigidaire, the computer board took the place of the timer so if the dryer didn't advance to off and got stuck in the same spot you knew it was the timer,so if it doesn't count down and beeps it sounds like a board issue and sometimes the board can't read itself out and you won't get a code.try unplugging it for like 5 to 10 minutes and then plug it back in to see if it resets the board but it probably will go back to doing the same thing
follow this steps and fix it. God bless you The timer could be the problem. To check this, turn the timer to a timed
cycle say 30 minutes or so then time it. If in 30 minutes the timer
hasn't moved and the dryer is still on, the timer is faulty replac it. If in 30 minutes the dryer is off, the heating element is your problem
Heating Element
This is the most likely cause for some dryers timer not advancing. Some
dryers have two heating elements and if one goes out the timer will not
advance if you use it on an automatic cycle but you will still feel heat
inside the tub. Replace it
I recommend getting a timer and setting it for the amount of time your cycle goes for so that way the alarm goes off and reminds you. unless your washer is digital theres really no way to change it.
Many different possibilities. Could be thermal fuse, timer / control, motor. Start switch, or door switch. Most likely need to call service unless you have means to troubleshoot and test parts.
If the dryer has been cleared of lint. the lint filter area is clear and the vent is fine then the timer is probably bad. Why? because a lot of current goes through the timer and most of the time the contacts in it get burred or burnt. Unless you have a bad breaker I would advise replacing the timer.
Bad timer motor if you are using timed dry.
If using auto dry probably a bad sensor.
Verify by using any time dry or air fluff cycle and see if the timer moves.
there could be a temperature switch that tripps off. look at the diagram and trace also the power to the timer motor. it seems that you lost your power to your timer motor that is why the timer stays @ what ever setting you set it.
