Dylt032d picture / audio problem

I have the same problem. rca 26lb30rqd. The red light is on (steady), and when I hit the power button, the blue light comes on for a second, then goes black, w/ no display. Before this happened, the display was extremely bright with ghosting. The picture was un-viewable. Did you every figure out the problem?

Is there same problem with other input devices also? Look for any jammed buttons on the remote. If it does not work even then, this may need attention by a qualified service technician.

Replace the TMS94481CT transformer on the inverter board. Can't miss it it is bright yellow. Part is available on EBay.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

All your power seems to be on right

One of two symptoms on this model (LTV-32W6HD) Blue light comes on but cannot shut off. No picture; OR No picture but sound is OK. 1: In both cases replace ALL the electrolytic capacitors onthe output side of the power supply. This should get the power switch to worknormally. 2: Replace the small tiny wee little tiny small 2.0A fuse onthe inverter board labeled F1. This is the small black fuse, not the slightly bigger whiteones labeled F2 and F3.Ta Da...all fixed.

your tv has a loose board problem, its either in main board or CRT socket.

I changed the inputs into another port - ie. instead of being in video 1 it's in video 4 now... I don't have as good a picture but it does come on; I'm wondering if my system took some kind of volt or fluctuation and damaged th eone set of inputs?

Will wait and see what happens next.
