Make sure that the television or and stereo receiver is not turned on to mute or the speakers are offsettings. Ensure that the volume on the TV or the receiver is set up to an audible level. Try another disc in the DVD player and see if you get a picture on the screen if it works with another disc then there is something wrong with one of the DVD discs . Try using a different audio source through the television or the receiver
It looks like a stand alone dvd player from the picture and there is no sound power so to speak for those units just a left and right audio signal ( Red and White ) Yellow is for video of course. Make sure you have the red and white audio OUT going into the INPUT of your power ( your main radio ) and as long as your radio is working correctly you should have sound. Some of those stand alone units come with a 3.5 mm or 1/8 jack and you have to make sure which is audio and which is video and get them to the right inputs of your radio. if that doesn't work check your radio am/fm or cd player and if sound works with them it is probably not getting the audio signal correctly. Good Luck !
double check the wires are in the correct connections on both the tv and dvd player also the KHL dvd player may need to be put in progressive scan. Usually the red wire for video and the one for audio get plugged into the wrong input and causes this issue
Try seting the parking brake and insert the disk again. Alot of the time indash are made so the driver cant watch tv while driving. Let me know if that helps
if evrything is ok with the dvd (make sure the dvd is working fine), you need to hook up the yellow/ blue wires and yellow / black wires one for parking breack and the other for the breack chek the diagram on top of the alpine radio .
