Try Installing as Administrator, BOTH installing and "Run" the .exe as Administrator. Also try setting again both install .exe and the run .exe, in "Compatibility Mode" for XP SP2. to do this right click, .exe and select properties, then choose compatibility, mode and set there. If Win 7 on 64bit, remember to turn OFF digital driver signing, press F8 at boot time, and select at bottom of list.

The Print Shop version 20 Deluxe for PC is not compatible with Windows 7. The newer Version 23 is compatible. This is due to software compatibility issues with Windows 7.

You can check for Win 7 Compatibility for "software or hardware" @ Windows 7 Compatibility Center

It will not run on Win 7, even when you are using the Compatibility Mode options. Too bad you have to get the newer version 23.

If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. You can find more about this Compatibility issue on Microsoft website: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

I use Windows 7 and the PrintShop Deluxe 22 will not work.

Microsoft's Windows 7 compatibility list shows this product as unknown at this time and recommends using the Vista compatible version. If you need to upgrade to the Vista compatible version there is a free update located at the link below.
