My Hp g60 laptop battery is not working

I have got a trouble with my HP g60 Laptop battery, it is not working and i could not charge it with my HP g60 laptop Charger. where is the problem? i will be glad if you fix it.

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all.
OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time.
If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

First ensure yourself that your charger is ok. if ok then change your battery. for using battery many days its stability decoy day by day. so you need to change your laptop battery. Caution: before you bought battery please buy the same brand battery and amphare. i mean hp g60 battery. thanks

on AC pack only yes/no
if yes the battery is bad and worse shorted.
no. the pack is bad. or worst, even 20 thing listed failed.
the charge chip is inside the PC
the power pack is only a 120v AC to DC raw power pack
so removing the huge battery takes the PC out of overload
see?
all laptops made end here, battery huge can fail i 1 year. abused.
so remove it first. see what the PC does no huge battery there.
g60-xyx123 no model told G60 is only series, so no waxing too smart.

New batteries won't charge
it needs service,
if the charge circuits fail, it needs to be repaired.
do know the charge chip is on the MOBO. so , not easy to fix.

yes it is big black battery on the bottom of your laptop, and sound likes it is reaching the end of its usable life. you will need to buy a new one.

I have a hp g60, i have a really weird issue. Some times my laptop stops charging suddenly and the small led next to my charging input slot does not show any light. I checked my charger its showing...
Kind of vague. It could be the port on your laptop where the charger plugs into. It could be bad, or could have a bad connection to the motherboard due to use or manufacturing defect. When the charger stops charging then it has to use the battery power. This morning the battery may have had a low charge causing the laptop to shut down. Did you notice the battery's power level before it shut down? If you are wiggling the end of the charger that is plugged into your laptop to get it to start charging again, then that is most likely your problem. Do not wiggle it , for it could fry your motherboard. If that is the case then that port needs to be re-soldered.

Hello,

First try to use your charger on another laptop to see if it will work, if it does not, then it means your charger is faulty and needs replacement.

If your charger works fine, then it is the charging port of the laptop that is bad and needs replacement, have a repairman resolder it back or replace it for you and it will be in good condition once again.

Plug in charger for laptop hp g60, but not charging. How can I find it works?
Try charging the laptop without the battery. If it does not work, Check the port of the charger if it blinks any light. If it doesn't, then I guess you would have to get a new charger. If it still does not work, then the power pack should be examined by an expert.
