Your SD slot is for a memory card and putting a sim card into it will not solve anything. Call your mobile carrier and check with them regarding the sim card. Maybe your phone doesn't take a sim card. Go to LG.com and in the search area list LG Optimus user's manual and that should answer your questions. I looked on that web site for my LG user's manual, found it and downloaded it I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION TO THOSE OF US THAT CANNOT FIND A MICRO SIM CARD FOR OUR PHONES UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY +$70.00 ON AMAZON. TAKE YOUR REGULAR SIZED SIM CARD TO A LOCAL CELL PHONE STORE AND ASK THEM IF THEY HAVE A SIM CARD CUTTER. IF THEY DO, THEY WILL PROBABLY CUT YOUR SIM TO A MICRO OR NANO SIM FOR FREE. IT WORKED FOR ME.
Open the back cover of the phone, remove the battery,slip the sim card into the slot designed for the sim card. Later, install the battery,put back cover. Turn power on. That's it.
im not sure about this one as i would have to see the phone but i believe that one of the pin receptors to your sim card is damaged or the slot or latch you put your sim card in has come loose some if it is loose try some tape if not then take it to a cellular repair store and get an estimate on how much it will cost to fix it
i have a ph-hb758 phone bought from hongkong via ebay.com ..When i put in the sim card i see the message "No Service". I cant call and sms anyone..Pliz can u help me.
First: you need to simply remove the back; then after you remove the back the battery will be there. If it wasnt removed simply remove the battery from the back of the phone without it getting wet. There might be some slight difculty doing this. What you have to do is ; slam the back of you're phone; on you're thigh if you have anyproblems. also place the sim card in behind the battery u will find the sim card slot; . Then place it in the slot facing up wards.
