I have a polaroid 26'' HD model 2611-TLXB AND DIRECT TV AS A SATALITE MODEL HUGHES and I need the right code to programa my direct tv control. I tray a thousend number and any one work....Can you help me with that?????

Sounds like your fiddling may have shorted out the main board of the TV.

Not to say that this wouldn't have happened eventually, there's a good possibility it was defective from the start.

If you have warranty, try to go through that, you should be covered. Otherwise, for a 26 inch, most likely not worth repairing, good luck!

You need to do some voltages checking, it needds to have at least the standby 5vdc working.

try unplugging from wall and plugging back in.check fuse

You need to open it up and checking the voltages in the power supply sections, you should have 5v (for logic circuits), 12v for sound, 24v for backlight inverter circuits. Look for bad caps with bulging tops in power supply also.

The only model of remote that i heard that it has pre-program Olevia code in it.. is the RC-64 or RC-64RB usually these remotes are coming with the new HD boxes..
