Check for any fuel leaks. Keep it parked while someone presses the gas pedal. look around for any fuel leaks. A loss of fuel pressure will give you those symptoms. Check the fuel pump too. Good luck!

clean the idle air control valve. This thing controls your idle speed but gets gummed up with deposits. buy a can of spray carb cleaner and maybe a cheap set of torx L wrenches if you dont have any. remove IAC and clean valve and bore with paper towels and carb cleaner. Also use some of that carb cleaner to clean the throttle bore and plate using an old toothbrush and towels. and lastly replace the PCV valve. Your truck will now idle like it just came off the showroom floor!
The slave cylinder for your clutch has a valve in it, which keeps the clutch from engaging too quickly. The purpose is to keep you from just dumping the clutch and wreaking havoc on your transmission. If you're confident that you don't need that extra safety device in there, you can remove it, just google slave cylinder valve removal. It will give your clutch more of an aftermarket feel.
The sensor could be failing to read the lower pressure when the engine RPM slows down. Or the pump could be failing. I would replace the sensor and see if that doesn't correct the problem
Try the fuel filter,if not then the fuel pump maybe bad. That light will go on when the engine gets to a real low rpm, like stalling. Try that & come back if that doesn't solve it.
ummm i would say you need to adjust your trans shift cable, check your fluid level, and the problem i had with my dodge was similar to yours... it was my 3rd-4th actuator spring, it had broke and couldnt hold the pressure to keep it in gear
