It's not Warning Tones.

Hello Hank,

When you make call use the left and right square key for increasing or decreasing volume.

You will need to go into your settings (sound settings or profile settings which you are using) and enable (turn on) warning tones.

P.S if the profile is on silent, there will be no beep. Change profile to general and turn up volumes and enable warning tones.

• Check that the volume in the application is turned up and that your phone is not in "Silent" mode. You can control the volume by pressing up or down on your phone.
  
  
• For Nokia devices, you must have the Warning Tones enabled in your phone's settings to hear audio . This setting can be found in "Profiles" > "Current Profile" > "Personalize" > "Warning Tones".
• The above issues is not useful means definetly you have to change the speaker...

Unfortunately this is a privacy setting that Nokia believes is required by some countries.
The following may work for you:
Go to Settings -> Profiles Select the options button and go to personalise.
Once in personalise find the warning tones option and set to no.
Unfortunately this may cause a number of other tones not to function, but it should remove the camera shutter noise.
Check your silent mode, it may already have this setting off and therefore will let you take pictures without the camera sound automatically.
There are a number of non-commercial "hacks" but these should only be used if you are an advanced user.

go to your current profile and to edit, there you can find the warning tones and keypad tones levels, you can adjust there, else go to tone settings..

menu
2 settings
3 tones
incoming call alert (set to ringing)
ringing tone ( pick your ring tone)
ringing volume (set to level 5 loudest)
vibrating alert (on)
message alert tone (pick tone)
instant message alert tone (standard)
keypad tones (on)
warning tones (on) this is for the alarm and ringtone this is where your problem is so double check these settings ok
alert for (all calls)

just take the camera settings and turn off the shutter sound. or take the tone settings and off the warning tones and application tones

sounds like the radio is going bad, there should not be any warning tones from the radio unless it is going bad.

if you try turning off the warning tones it should stop this happening but remember this might stop your alarm from working if this dont stop the prob then you will need to get the phone reprogrammed this can only be done through a phone shop hope this helps

are you sure you havnt turned the warning tones off as this wil affect the alarm to let me know
