Bosch SHU 8805 arm under top rack not supplying water. It appears to be seated properly in the back of the unit. Dishes on the top rack do not get clean.
Replace the upper water arm conduit and wash arm hub as they leak under years of pressure and the o-rings leak water and then it can't hold pressure and supply the upper arm with full pressure water, also replace the center arm conduit if it has one as this will wear out too

Check the center wash arm assembly. If the center wash arm isn't getting water, all of the dishes in the upper rack will come out dirty. Check to be sure the center wash arm assembly is mating properly with the water supply nozzle in the back of the dishwasher. Also check to be sure the little holes in the center wash arm aren't clogged or blocked.
* Run empty cycle using vinegar and baking soda lime scale problem will resolve.
Make sure the center loading is not obstructing the water jet to the top shelf. Top shelf is only for glasses and saucers , use Jet-Dry .Pre rinse and clean bottom pan strainer from dirtdebris.
Please check if something is blocked near the top spray arm, also make sure that all holes are oopen. Use a sharp metal pin to clean the holes on the top spray arm. Make sure the water pressure is not low. under the screen and youl'll need a Torx driver to get to it after you remove the spray arm and screen. Check to see that the path it travels is clear. I have seen these get blocked up by stuff.
Now check if the top arm spins freely and check the bearings for the arm, if they are producing extra friction while the spray arm spins. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more assistance.
maybe not... if unit is incorporating more than one spray arm, chances are the upper spray arm is not getting water.pull top rack forward, gaze under top rack near rear manifold.slowly push rack back in.notice if manifold inserts into upper wash feed.if so,possible motor issue. if not, bingo was his name-o!
There is a screen that you can remove from the sump of the dishwasher to clean. Just twist it to the left and pull it out. I have some tips that you might want to check out if this does not resolve your problem. St Paul Appliance Repair
Can you remove the upper spray arm (is yours under the upper rack?)-mine unscrews and then you have to wiggle it off. Run faucet water into the arm; sometimes little bits of crud get stuck in the holes that spray the water out, and this prevents a complete rinse. I just had to clear these holes myself due to same problem (I might have a different machine, though). You can do the same for the lower arm.
Ours is a SHU3300UC/06 model, basic model which we bought in 1999 so have had 9 years of trouble free service. Recently
we noticed that there was soap left in the soap dispenser after the
machine had finished all the cycles. On further inspection we noticed
that the upper level glasses, cups and bowels are not consistently
clean and it appears that the upper washing arm is not working
properly. At the back of the upper washer arm, there is a rectangular
piece that slides over the two water outlet tubes projecting out of the
back of the washer which supply H20 to the upper arm. On removing the
upper arm and the rectangular connector, I noticed there is an inner
place that I think is supposed to work like a washer that fits tightly
over the 2 water outlet tubes in the protruding from the back of the
washer. I noted that the upper opening in the washer/seal is broken so
a proper seal is not established. This would cause insufficient water
pressure getting to the upper arm and reduce its effectiveness. Now
I'm trying to find the replacement part. It appears to be something
than can easily be replaced.
only the top rack isnt getting clean? there is a little plastic
circle in the middle of the bottom of the upper spray arm. turn it
counter clock wise to pull the upper spray arm from the upper rack.
make sure that isnt clogged and the spray holes are not clogged.
otherwise....
the piece that the bottem spray arm plugs into and
runs along the back wall of the tank to the top is called a feed tube.
pull the bottom spray arm out. now you can see the part of the feed
tube that feeds the upper spray arm water. does it pop out freely and
easily? if so then you need a new feed tube, if not then its most
likely your not achieving the right water level or your impeller
connected to your circulation pump(motor) is clogged not supplying
enough water pressure to travel up the feed tube to spin the upper
spray arm.
Check the drain pump. First, manually initiate drain by pressing the second and fourth buttons on the keypad at the same time. If it pumps out, disregard the rest. If it doesn't at least hum, check for power at the motor.
Remove lower rack, lower spray arm, and screens in bottom, remove all water inside. Check for debris under pump cover in bottom of sump. The drain pump suction is through the hole on the left.
Behind the toe panel on the left is the drain motor, If no debris was found inside, the drain pump may have failed. Remove outer door panel (you may need to remove the two screws on the sides of the control panel.) Remove the metal panel across the top of the motor area , disconnect hose in front of pump, disconnect wires to pump, press tab at top of pump and rotate clockwise to remove pump. The impeller could be loose on the motor shaft, or the motor windings failed.
