Unhook the cable going from the power board to the buffers one at a time and see if it comes on then with a distorted picture or at least sound, replace that board
You can open the TV and inspect the power supply for bulging or leaky capacitors near CN801.
The power supply is failing due to defective capacitors.

Is there a clicking sound? Unplug the power cord for 20 seconds and see if this helps reset the circuitry. If the clicking continues, go to http://www.fixya.com/support/t722954-samsung_lns4051_dx_makes_clicking. If you can see defective caps on the power board and don't feel comfortable replacing, parts can be ordered at PartStore.com.

it is a power supply issue. options 1- replace the power supply
2- this unit has an issue with 4 capsitors on the power supply which sit side by side and are about 10 volt each replace them with standard 16v caps.
