Can I use a Verizon Jabra VBT 185Z bluetooth with Samsung A-177
Just switched cell carriers (Verizon to At&T) and wanted to know if I can use my Verizon Jabra VBT 185Z bluetooth with my new At&T Samsung A-177 magnet cell. Can these be paired to work together?

as long as the iphone supports bluetooth and it is not disabled it should. bluetooth is universal. some carriers will have the phone maker disable certain functions on certain phones. For example, I had a friend who had verizon and the only bluetooth function available was hands free, couldnt do anything else with it even though the phone supported it, verizon had the other functions disabled
Go to this site, and it will walk you through each step to connect your
particular Jabra headset with your cellphone. Choose the headset, and
then at the next page, choose your phone. Moving your mouse over each
step will change the picture to what you should be seeing on your phone
at each step. http://jabra.pairx.co.uk/ Pls come back and let us know if this solved your problem.
You need to power on the bluetooth headset, make sure that it has a solid LED light on it. Power on the phone and go to the bluetooth settings, search on the headset, it will ask you to enter a pass code, just enter 0000 that is the default code for that.
I have a Jabra VBT 2050 bluetooth headset. As per the product user manual(page 8) this device is compatible with any bluetooth mobile phones with bluetooth version 1.1 or higher.
My LG Shine CU720 mobile phone is not able to detect the VBT 2050 device. I checked the specification of mobile phone & its bluetooth 1.2. I am able to pair the VBT 2050 with other bluetooth mobile devices.
Could you help me resolve my problem. Appreciate quick help
try holding call button down for 10 seconds on that one, it shold start blinking, than remove your thumb as soon as it starts blinking, to turn it off reverse the process, remember passkey is 0000 or 1234. good luck
OK, this is what you do:
1. Make sure your Jabra VBT 2050 is fully charged.
2. Enable bluetooth on your phone.
3. Turn on your VBT 2050 with the little button on the side (the white light between the keys should flash).
4. Initiate a search from your phone while holding down the center button on the VBT 2050 (middle, under the + and -).
5. You might need to do another bluetooth search using your phone (it took me about 4 times befor my Blackberry Storm picked up the signal.
6. When your phone asks for a code, type in 0000 (the default number).
I took my husband's suggestion and used 0000 and it worked. My husband claims it is the factory default for all bluetooth headsets. Try it and let us know if it works.
I had the same problem. If the bluetooth had been paired with another device, you have to reset it first by pressing the volume down button and the answer button at the same time for a few seconds until a solid blue light comes on. Then retry to pair it with your phone. It worked on mine. Good luck!
