Hi realised one of my bras was missing an underwire when taking it out of the washer. Just used the washer again and I can hear it underneath the drum scratching and making a real bad noise :( can anybody tell me if it's easy to get to the inside to retrieve it and how I'd do this?? Thanks ps got three kids n really need to be using the washer asap!!
You can take the front bottom Panel off or the back off or both and hope it fell outside the tub onto floor of unit. If it is between inner and outer tub, that would be a major undertaking to get to it.
I can try to help you with this problem. if you pop the cap off the top of the agitator you will see a nut, once you take the nut off you should be able to jiggle the agitator in an upward motion to remove it then retrieve your wire and gently slide agitator back on so as not to ruin the splines if there are any. good luck

This sounds like the min bearings have gone, open the door and see if there is any play up and down on the drum. if so its the bearing if not it could be something that has fallen from a pocket and got stuck between the metal clothes drum and the oute drum casing. a take apart job i am afraid for both issues.

I havent opened your particular model, but mine (74520) cen be easily opened from the back (6 screws to remove the plate). You can then see a big rubber hose attached to the bottom of the drum housing. By removing this (open the big clamp on the hose) you should be able to detach it and reach into the housing and get the object out.

Switch off machine and unplug it from the wall socket. Remove back plate and identify the heating element. It should be located at the bottom of the outer drum. Remove element and you will have limited access to the space between the drums. Rotate the drum slowly by hand untill the bra wire gets to the bottom of the drum. Remove obstruction with hook or long tweeser.
SOURCE: Bad Smell
this is caused by a build up of old detergent and limescale.there are some industrial strength descalers around.wpro descaler is one.add the sachet to the drum with no wash load.pour in a kettle of hot water(not boiling)and leave for thirty minutes.then put washing machine on a 60 degree cycle and allow to run right through.you will need to repeat approximately every three months

My machine is just over 3 years old and although there is no play in the rear drum bearing it is very noisey on spin.
It gets progessively loud the faster the spin speed.
1. Unplug the washer
2. Pull the washer out to tilt it back so you can
reach the screws below the front panel and
remove it. (You will need something to catch
the water once the hose is removed from
the bottom of washer)
3. Loosen the bolt with the sliver clamp on the
bottom of the washer. The water will begin to
come out while your loosening the clamp. (Do
not remove any GREEN clamps)
4. Once the water is out, you can stick your hand
inside the hose to clean it out.

Sorry, my answer is not pertinent to your problem. I had your problem confused with someone else who lost a necklace in a machine.
