I have a Maytag jetclean eq plus dishwasher. Once in a while, the soap get stuck in the dispenser. Result, dishes not clean and soap everywhere.
Thanks!
This could be due to 2 problems: not enough water or water is not being pumped hard enough through the system. The 'not enough water' is easy to check - open the door in the middle of a wash cycle. If you have enough water (about 1" or more) then that is probably ok. The 'not pumping hard enough' could be as simple as plugged up filters and holes in the spray arms. Remove the racks and disassemble the lower spray arm and the filter assembly all the way down past the screen. Clean the arm holes, throughly clean the screen, clean everything. Pull the top spray arm and throughly clean the spray holes there. Put it all together and run a cycle. You should see a pronounced increase in the sound of the water spraying around. This should fix your problem - it did for me.
I have the same dishwasher and have had the same problem. What I've personally observed, however, is that sometimes a long utensil in the silverware basket prevents the soap dispenser door from opening. Simply make sure the long items are not placed in the basket closest to the soap dispenser door.

same problem- dishes all have residue on them- have to rinse them off by hand
When I open the dishwasher ( Maytag Jet Clean Quite Plus II ) after it has run, I find the soap door open but the soap tab is only partially disolved, still in the dispenser. The dishes are not clean, but I know the water has run because I opened the dishwasher mid-cycle and found plenty of hot water spraying everywhere.
My clean and normal wash are blinking. The systems starts at 85 minutes then never goes past 84 and then starts blinking
