Upholstry set up for ultimate g kirby.

you need to use the small round suds nozzel, this will create a fine foam, spray the foam into a basin, the use the upholstry brush to apply to the stairs or chair.

Hi!
You need to take the power nozzle off and attach the thing that looks like a little plastic cup with two hooks on it. This is the intake guard. Attach it to the front. Now remove the cloth bag and put the hose on the hole where the bag was. You'll have to line the arrow on the hose up with the notch on the Kirby and push the hose arm toward the Kirby until it pops on. If you need to, lube up the edges of the hole with a wee bit of vaseline or hand lotion. This makes the hose engage easier. Now, put the shampoo gun on the end of the hose and you're ready to go.

there are two saftey switches. one on the air input, and one on the air output. someting has to be covering each. USE the SAFTEY CUP on the input and the Hose on the OUTPUT. does that answer your questions 4n4l <unt?

Does anyone know what the wattage is on a Kirby Ultimate G? I'm moving to the UK and need to know what size transformer to buy! Thanks

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. My suggestion is that you contact the Kirby Co in Cleveland listed below and they will instruct you on the wattage and also what you need for a transformer, or look underneath the vacuum and there should be a sticker stating the amps and maybe the watts, but also the information may be in the owner’s manual or they will mail one out to you, there might be a local Kirby dealer in your area that might have a manual as well. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Hi, my name is Jon and I have an Ultimate G Kirby and have sold Kirby and the solution to this problem it is very simple. All you have to do is first disengage the belt by lifting the hood and twisting the plastic thing that says Kirby. Twist it all the way till the red arrows meet up then you will know that the belt is disengaged. Next you're going to disconnect the front by pushing the small metal lever/lock under the hood to the right and the front end should come right off. REMEMBER put the vacuum on the highest setting so this will be much easier to do. Then what you want to do is connect to hose and you will do so by connecting the hose in the same manner in which you would connect the front. There is a perch for the hose or any of the other attachments to rest their "feet" on as you will see the end of the hose is contoured to fit the Kirby in the same way the front end does. Lock the hose in place with the metal lever/lock by putting it over to the left. REMEMBER to disconnect the belt when you take off the front end and ALSO to reengage it when you put the front back on. I hope to have solved your problem, and I'll talk to you later!
