Hi There
I have found the code you are looking for and i hope this helps you. Let me know how it went.
F/09 Overflow Condition
If the Overflow contact on the pressure switch is Closed for more than 60 seconds and Overflow condition will occur. In an Overflow condition, the Door will remain locked, and the Drain Pump will run constantly, even if PAUSE/CANCEL is pressed twice and the Display is cleared. Unplug the unit to service.

  • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or inked.
  • Check Wire Harness connectors to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check/Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects
  • Check for Drain Pump Failure
  • Check the Inlet Valve for proper shut off
  • Check the Pressure switch for proper operation
thank you for writing to fix ya.
Best Regards Richard

The washer is having the following issues. Overfills excess water drains out on the floor down the overfill pipe. Washer cycles and doesn't spin.

The float on the water level shut off valve is probally stuck and not telling the washer that its full and to turn off the water. once thats fixed it will probally cycle normally. Try it on half load and see if the water stops at the correct spot.

I have A WhirlPool Cabrio.. when i start a load.. it flashes "FL' and beeps excessively.. how can i fix and prevent that?

Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.

If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.

When the air conditioner is running the floor on the drivers side gets wet. It is not the drain line, we have had that checked.

I can't think of much else that could be wrong. What is happening here is that water condensates inside the vehicle which is entirely normal during operation. There should be a tray below the exchanger inside the vehicle that collects the condensation - maybe that is broken / not fixed in place?

Clothes soaking wet after washer is done

There is either a problem with the drain or spin cycle. Before the spin cycly starts, ensure that the water drains fully. If it does, then it may either be the belt slipping or the timer malfunctioning. If there is water in the tub when it starts spinning, then you have a blockage in the drain line.

The spin cycle will not spin properly, the clothes at the bottom are still dripping wet and I do not overfill the washer, and its on all cycles

Your drain pump is not draining properly. Remove from washer and inspect the pump section. Check for blockages or obstruction in the pipes.

FL alert

FL Flood Condition FL flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for FL to be displayed

With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.

My washer won't drain & there is a burning smell. I tried all other functions and none of them will do anything ie won't fill with more water. We bought this washer 1 week ago when our old washer did...

I'm assuming it is a used washer.

First you need to get the water and wet clothes out. Dip it out if you have to, or take the drain hose out of the drain pipe and let water out of it by laying it on the floor, that is only if you can stick the end out the door to the outside, as this will drain the entire tub, or it there is a floor drain nearby. Do not just drain it on to the floor unless you know it won't hurt anything to have water running everywhere.

Once you get the tub drained, you need to check the belt which is on the bottom, accessed either from the back or from the bottom. If it is bad, replace it and try to wash clothes again, be sure you don't overload the washer with too many clothes.

Water drains onto floor instead of drain tube

can t imagine that the problem is withthe machine, i would actually think that perhaps your drain is backing up and overfiling in to the pan. seems like a more likely scenerio, next time it happens check the walll directly behind the unit undert he drain line if its wet, then id say overflow issue

DISHWASHER WILL NOT DRAIN

The machine is held in the cabinet with several screws that go up into the front edge of the cabinet. Open the door to find the screws. Lift up on the washer cabinet slightly to avoid harming the kitchen floor when pulling the machine out. Try pulling the hose connection at the sink drain stub and using a wet/dry vacuum, **** the end of the hose and the drain stub. With luck, the clog will be pulled out. Good luck!
