I have a webcam but i don't have a cd installer, my webcam specification was LOGITECH M/N:V-UBM46, PID;LZ906BP, P/N 860--000109.. i do hope you can help me thanks....

The P/N will let you find the camera software for the 860-000109 here: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/3428?product=a0qi00000069v1bAAA . This part number is for the QuickCam Pro 9000 or the WebCam Pro 9000. Based on the model number, V-UBM46, you have the QuickCam Pro 9000. Scroll down to find the correct software for the operating system on your computer. The QuickCam Pro 9000 can be used with the LWS (Logitech Webcam Software) versions 1.1, 2.31, 2.51 and 2.80. LWS 2.51 and LWS 2.80 do not support the Video Effects. LWS 2.80 works with Windows 8 and 10 and the direct link to the program installer is http://www.logitech.com/pub/video/lws/lws280.exe . Links to all versions of LWS are at the bottom of the second chart. Additional information and FAQs are available here: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/quickcam-pro-9000 .

I hope this helps.

I have a logitech Pro 9000. It works completely fine with GChat, but not for Skype. Skype complains " bad internet connection" and the video I transmit is mostly frozen. On the other hand the...

hi freeman319

you might want to try and uninstall the quickcam application. as i've researched skype is having problems with certain cams compatibility. just try and uninstall the quickcam application but not the drivers. with this you may still be able to use the quickcam with other applications.
you can uninstall it through the control panel>add remove programs

also if you are using a headset or separate mic and headset with the video call you would want to disable the mic on the quickcam
go into Device Manager and disable the microphone in the Pro 9000

ofcourse this is just some things you can try but is not guaranteed to solve your issue. please let me know if this works. thanks.

hope this helps

It is possible your webcam is either disabled or the driver is corrupted. Try reloading the webcam software driver, reboot, and then try the free webcam test tool to check if it is working properly.

Incoming Skype Picture Freezes and/or Jumps

You are not the only one. I have a gorup of 6 people, on Vista, XP, with QuickCamPros and other brands and we communicate daily. We are ALL having the same problem as a result of the last Skype update.

It is NOT your system, it's Skype's issue. Do like we do and in the lower right corner of your screen you can report the quality of the call. Keep doing it over and over and maybe they'll do something about it!

Can't get Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 to work on Gmail?

I had this problem but I fixed it. The google chat uninstaller does not uninstall everything. Go to the hidden folder Application Data of the default or local user in the Documents and Settings folder of the C drive, you will find the plugin folder for google chat. Delete it and then reinstall the plugin and it will work.

Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 - Movie Sound?

Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
