Using the VGA connector is OK. But to get it work, please be sure that the video settings on your computer are adjusted properly:
The resolution of your HL32R is only 1366 x 768. This is the MAX resolution you have to set on your PC. You can also adjust the refresh rate to 60Hz.

Hi allan, yes your remote can control six devices (TV, DVD, VCR, SETBOX , CABLE or AUDIO.)

If you tell me the devices you want to program to the haier remote i can give you the codes and tell you how to do it.

i have the same problem and still looking for the code :( but for the mean time i just hook up my digital box to the tv threw the video inputs. hope this helps you.

I have a 32 in. Haier also, i believe channel 3 should do the job but not sure cause i got mine hooked up threw the comcast digital box and hook it up to my tv threw the video inputs. I was told you get better picuter doing this thats why i got mine hooked up this way.
