E522BR - 519L bottom mount with hinge on right. Not knowing what active smart version it is, as the display could be at the rear of the interior, on the frotn right hand side or on a display panel on the door

Freezer should be 0 or below, Fridge should be between 38 and 42. All temps in F

you need to have the defrost element replaced !!

press the select button ( the button that you choose the temperature on the fridge and freezer) and check that the fan on both fridge and freezer are working.

you need to keep the freezer settings to its minimum so that it flows the air to it's maximun throuh all over the fridze.

i believe its about 10 years old ..

Very possible the door was accidently left open for a period of time. When that happens, moisture latches on to different areas which inturn creates ice build up. In short, do a good defrost and then restart freezer again.
