Is the FAN (bottom right of the front) of the low voltage power supply block working? Is the FAN connector connected correctly?
Check to make sure connection of the FAN connector. Replace the low voltage power supply unit. Replace the FAN motor. Replace the low voltage power supply unit.
"Low Voltage Power Supply" in a laser printer usually means the AC to DC power supply in from your wall outlet. The "High Voltage Power Supply" is often in the center of the printer and provides the high power required for imaging internally.
I'm not at all familiar with the Pyramid Brand/Make, but the best I could suggest is to ask other amateurs/Cber's, and other radio enthusiasts in your local area, if the have any spare parts or non-working power supply units that you can have for a small fee or favour if needs be, and I'm sure that you can find, even if you need to trim the fan blades to suit, that this will be the easiest and cheapest way of doing the job.
In that case the problem of your television is the power supply. The power supply have low voltage output so that the board of your TV cannot drive,so that the TV wont turn on.The power supply have leak capacitor that may cause of abnormal voltage. The output voltage of the power supply is +5V, +12V, and +24V.So the power supply is the problem its need to repair. Thanks
To remove the low voltage power supply, Take off the side covers. the power supply is on the rear right hand side of the printer. Just remove the screw's and the cable's connected to it and your done. Don't confuse it with the Hi voltage power supply which is on the Left side of the printer as your facing it head on from the control panel.
Most of Pyramid's supplies are based on the LM723 voltage regulator. The DATASHEET should tell you most of what you'll need to know to repair it. THIS is the schematic diagram.
If the output voltage drives the voltmeter to the end of the scale, it likely has one or more shorted power transistors.
