Error code u3-2 laser not detected?

Photo-copier is showing error code and I have been advised this means laser not detected! I have tried unplugging machine from wall and leaving for 10 minutes then retrying but the error is still there?
How do I repair the machine please? Do I need to order a new part or does it sound like something has been disconnected? Many thanks for your help.

You must have the Laser Unit replaced because the polygon mirror is not spinning up.

My canon mp250 shows the error 5200 when i try to print what does thet mean ?

it means Print head temperature rise error or Error Code 5200
Condition: The print head temperature exceeded the specified value.
Problems and Solutions:

Turn off the printer and then turn on if error still persist replace Ink cartridge or print head

Actually the matter i like that i have richo aficio photo state machine and now it shows the error code of sc322 how to solve this problem. tell me as soon as possible

sc 322 is the laser unit problem. the laser unit needs replacing. it can only be done by a Ricoh technician.

I use a Canon ImageCLASS MF4350d Laser All-in-One (2711B001AA) Printer. When i want to photo copy, it shows system error -E225. What does that mean?

I think that error code means a problem with the scanner/lamp. Any type of Exxx code means the machine needs (repair) service. This is a fairly new product and should still be in warranty, so I recommend you contact your regional Canon service agency.

this error code is related to Beam Detect(BD) of the laser unit.(laser related problem)Try to unplug the machine and re start,check also front door actuator esp the middle one hope this will help
