I have the same problem with my tv. Where can i buy the parts? And are the lens and screen sold separately or as a kit? Thanks

There is a big triangle spot on the left bottom corner of our 65731 television. We have already had to replace the bulb twice now. We bought our television 16 months ago. We had the service repairman out today and he thinks it is "moisture damage" - I honestly do not see how - has anyone else had this problem? He said he would go back to the shop and call us with a quote for a new screen? The spots seems to fade after a while and are very faint.

Where can I find a new screen? We have a black line across the bottom, supposed moisture damage. I need to know where to purchase a new screen and how much.

I had one broken a few months ago. I got a couple quotes.. it was about $200 less then a brand new one. I'd just buy a new one.
For the new TV I'd pickup a screen protector for it. My son threw a toy at my TV the other day and I nearly had a heart attack from the flashbacks. Thank God I picked up one of these a few weeks earlier. It stopped it. LCD screens really break easily as you know. http://www.tv-armor.com

Not going to happen. Those screens are the most expensive part of a TV as well as the most fragile. It would never survive shipping without the hard bezel around it. Sorry to say you are going to most likely be shopping for a new TV.

If anyone will sell just the panel, it would be Vizio, but they will most likely require you to ship them the TV which will cost more money and may not be covered by your warranty.

Seriously, often the cost of replacing the screen is high enough to just spend the money buying a new TV.

I hit the screen with the wii remote. its damaged

It is obvious that the screen is cracked and must be replaced. There are a few problems in doing that. First, it is NEVER covered b warranty. Second, the LCD panel likely cost at least double the price you paid for the TV, if it is even available. Many are not available. Time to shop for another set. Sorry; John

Hi,
unfortunately the panel sounds like it cracked, that cannot be repaired and panel replacement will cost more than new tv. They make clear plastic protective screens for lcds websites like tv-armor and the like sell them.

When the TV is on, there is a bright crack in the LCD display

The short answer is yes, the screen can be replaced. The bad news is that the panel is not cheap. The part number is: EAJ36548001 and can be purchased from tritronicsinc.com for $1164.70 with a refund of $300 once the bad panel is returned. (shipping is extra) DAn
