Try This:

To unlock the power chair.
1. Use the on / off button to switch the control system on. The maximum speed / profile indicator will be rippling up and down.

2. Deflect the joystick forward until the control system beeps.

3. Deflect the joystick in reverse until the control system beeps.

4. Release the joystick, there will be a long beep.

5. The power chair should now be unlocked.

Hope it works.

What the lights moving right to left on jazzy select 6 power chair

If you are moving as soon as you turn on the chair, the lights will move from right to left. Try waiting a few seconds and see if the lights stop moving. If they do stop, then you can move forward. Hope this helps.

Where is the freewheel lever located on the jazzy 1113?

Original Jazzy Select has push-down levers on each side behind powered wheels. These manually disengage the brakes on each motor individually. They are about 6 inches long and push down an inch or so. I don;t know about other more current models, The 2 smaller wires to each motor disengage the brake when given power (24 volt, I think). The 2 larger wires run the motor.

Replaced battery in jazzy 600 wheelchair and the light comes on, but wheelchair will not do anything.

Make sure that your drive wheels are engaged and the power chair is not in the freehweel position (so it can be pushed).

What kind of Jazzy select 6 power chair does my Mom have? Serial number J92037090688C30. We live far away from each other and I need to know what she got.

Here's a link to Pride Mobility, maker of the Jazzy wheelchairs. This takes you to the Select 6; there's also a Select 6 Ultra. Just click on models and it will display all of their line of equipment.

Pull the forward and to right to lock position, which will release the gear so that the wheelchair can be move about without any electric power. Bear in mind though that releases the gear, still too heavy to push as normal wheelchair. Give a go, to find out for yourself.
