You cant run 2 bluetooth devices over one mic. That is with exception to a cell phone that has a music player built in that has an auto mute function for incoming calls. Check the stereo for an auto/mute feature for inbound calls. If you see nothing in the manual for that feature then that stereo just doesnt allow it. If so it will show you how to turn it on. His other option is to buy a bluetooth ear mic just for his cell phone.

I just looked at my wiring diagram and see that a fuse from fuse Holder D, Fuse D3,it is a 30amp fuse. I would start here. I may also be a good idea to have a test light if you plan on doing your electrical repairs.
I also see that another fuse connects to your top control unit; it will be fuse B6, 15amp located in fuse Holder B.
fist check the mute button on the headset, ive had mine muted several times and forgot =P. now go into your sound properties menu, and gor to the "recording" area. make sure that all devices are enabled (line in , mic, cd, ect...) now that youve done that a mixer will pop up. uncheck the mute button for mic in, and select the box under it to make it the primary input device. turn it up. then make sure in the device list that "stereo mix" is not checked. this should solve your problem.
Lawson, did you solve the problem? I have a similar problem, I can hardly hear my Nokia 3109C at full volume in the Bury carkit. The workshop told me that their Nokia worked fine, they suggested installing new firmware on my phone, however I have the latest version installed (7.21). Hans
if cutting the power to the kit dont work try removing the radio and removing the yellow wire from the back for the radio (the one coming from the junction box of the kit). that should get the radio/cd working properly. inspect the wire and make sure its not earthing anywhere behind the dash. radio isnt realy that easy to take out if you dont know what your doing.
