If you have full installed HP program that came with Printer then you can find Ink Level using HPTool Box utility.

another way is find out is that if your prints are comming light then its time to refill or buy new toner.

Third way is to judge by Toner weight. if low weight means also there is low ink.

If printer is in warranty, demand for replacement.

1. Check ink levels in printer..if levels are showing, take out all ink cartridges refill them.
If levels are zero, go for new cartridges.
2. If ink level are showing in printer & physically cartridges having ink, then problem with print head, try to clean the clogged nozzles.

How do i check my ink levels on officejet 6210 it says to go to preferences but when I hit the button there is no tab for services to check the ink level

What OS do you have on your computer?

Do you have the full software installed, if available for your OS? See http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=421991& , select your OS and then click Next. The Ink Level indicator is part of the HP Toolbox or HP Solution Center (depending on the printer). So without the full-software, the service tab (and ink level information) sn't available.

For the OfficeJet 6210, the driver for the all-in-one is part of the Windows OS for Windows 7. So the ink level information isn't available at the computer.

The other way to get the ink level is to have the printer do a print quality self-test. Put plain white letter, A4 or legal sized paper in the paper tray. Then press Setup (on the printer). Press 2 and 5 (selecting Print Report and Self-Test Report). The ink level may not be given exactly. (Use the quality of the ink blocks to determine if the ink needs to be replaced.)

I hope this helps.

How to check ink levels for HP6500A Plus Printer

Hi,

Normally there are 2 different ways to check ink level on any HP printer

First one is :

IF your printer is HP Officejet 6500 Wireless AIO,

Press Setup button ( ranch like symbol ) on printer front panel
Use Arrow key ( left or right arrow ) till you find Tools option - Press OK
User Arrow key to find Ink Level or Ink Gauge - Press OK.
It should display the ink level.

If it does not display ink level through this method, it could be for many reasons like printer is not aligned or one of the cartridge is not recognized etc.

2nd method is from PC
Open HP Solution Center
Click on Settings
Click on Printer tool box
Click on Ink level

Regards,
Ron

How to check ink level on hp officejet 6210 all-in-one printer

  • Open the Printer Toolbox . There are two ways to do this:
    • Click Start and select HP Solution Center . Select the Settings menu, then the Print Settings submenu, and finally the Printer Toolbox .
    • In your printing application, click File , click Print , and click Properties . Click the Services tab, then the Service This Device icon.
  • The Printer Toolbox opens. Click the Estimated Ink Level tab. A cartridge may be running out of ink even if the graphic shows ink remaining (see the note at the start of this section). Lines or streaks always appear in printouts when the cartridges begin to run out of ink. Replace print cartridges that are out of ink or low on ink.
