You must have broken the cable somewhere. If you move it around you might get it to come on, try it all over to determine where the break is. If very close to the headshell you might want to consider a new cable. If in the middle you can cutt it off before the break and fit a new plug. Then get an extension cable to complete the length.
If at the plug end follow what follows:
Cutt the old ******** and buy a new plug. Cutt it off 10cm before the plug end if the break is the plug section. Most hadphones are fitted with a 3.5mm jack. You will need to solder the wires on. You will find when you have baired back the cable two coloured wires and two earths. The earths fit together on the metal flange that comes out of the main body of the plug. The coloured wires go on the the two smaller flanges (left and right channels). If you get them wrong way round reverse them you won't do any damage. Make certain the earths don't come into contact with the R & L channels wires or terminals and the left or right don't touch each other. The T shaped end on the large flange is to grip the cable body, bend the tabs to grip the cable.

How can I open the headphone Jbl duet bt?

You might need to go via the foam side. Often you have to remove the foam and that shows the access screws. You can glue the foam back with Bostick after you have done. Or you can look around for new foam pads.

Why did the right side stop working?

I have the same set and mine broke on me too. Though mine was the left side. It looks like you've opened up the back piece but you can get to the meat of it if you just push on the pole that ear piece sits under push back on it(don't snap) and use a little upward force on the ear piece. Then you can see where the wire has most likely disconnected.

If it hasn't on that side you can do the same on the other side, it most likely has disconnected from the PCB as the wires are very very thin(what happened to mine). Just use a soldering iron and heat up the solder on the pad and put the wire back on. You need to make sure that the wire is exposed from the insulation first(I could use my nail to pull it off but the right wires looked different).

I attached a picture I took with the PCB exposed. On the left and right you can see the two grey prongs you need to put some pressure on to remove the rocker and get in. On the PCB at the top left you can see the 4 pads the speaker wires connect to. My left speaker was disconnect so you won't see wires on there(red and black). right beside it is the right speaker connection(blue and white wires). those should be attached like in the picture.

Use a soldering iron only if you have experience or with someone who does. I don't take responsibility for burns or fires or any other crazy mishaps. Doing this could break your headphones further, by burning the PCB or snapping the rockers on the side or any number of other things that could go wrong. So only do this if you already don't care if they break further.

Korg triton extreme synth. L/r outputs work fine by themselves put plug in both right side cuts out using headphone jack instead if you pull the right slightly out of input you get both sides working

I need more info to correctly troubleshoot this. However my best guess from what your telling me is that its either the Audio jack on the Korg or the headphones. If everything else is working properly replace the headphones and the Audio outputs. Post again with more details if that does not work

Only 1 side of my dr dre detox is working

THE INTERNAL WIRE CONNECTING BOTH HEADPHONES IS BROKEN. THIS PROBABLY HAPPENED WHEN TWISTING ONE OF THE HEADPHONES TO HEAR ONLY THROUGH ONE OF THEM. TRY FEEDING EEACH HEADPHONE INDEPENDENTLY WITH ITS OWN CABLE USING ONE OF THOSE PLUGS TO SHARE MUSIC FROM SAME SOURCE.

Do headphones NOT work in these speakers or do they have to be jbl brand headphones?

Not really, see the headphone connector if it fits the unit. If it fits but doesnt work then the headphones may have a problem. HOpe this helps and have a good one!
