SV 2000 TV/DVD combo code using the Direct TV Universal Remote

11963 is the code for the direct tv remote. I just figured mine out tonight!!!

1. switch the top button over to tv
2. hold select+mute button till light blinks twice
3. using key pad punch in 11963 and hit the vol up button
4. when the volume turns up simply just switch the top button back to the d-tv.

DONE!

Any remote supporting Sylvania TV/DVD combos will work for these tvs. I had a Zenith universal remote working with this TV.

The manufacturer for this television is Sylvania, the standard codes for TV/DVD combos will work just fine.

If your absolutly sure the remote doesnt work there is a power button on the unit its self. As far as a universal remote goes, I my self would like to know that. After much research I have found no info on another remote working

the code for the SV2000 using a oneforall remote is 0456

I found this info.....it doesn't work for my model SV2000 ( WV806 ) , but it might for yours SV2000 ( WV10D6 )

With the recorder on stop, not on a menu screen. press on remote; CMSKIP-1-2-3. this will take you to a page labeled "F/W VERSION DISP" this will display the current firmware version and model numbers. To exit , press the "RETURN" button. DO NOT PRESS "OK" on remote , pressing "OK" will reset your player settings.

View disk manufacturer information:

with a disk inserted into recorder and stoped, not on a menu screen; press on remote CMSKIP-1-2-3 to go to firmware information screen.press the rigth arrow "->" once. this will display the disk media type and disk manufacturer ID. To exit, press the left arrow "<-" once to go to the firmware display screen, then press the "RETURN" button. DO NOT PRESS "OK" on remote , pressing "OK" will reset your player settings.
