Red paper and ink lights blinking

Hi
this can mean number of things, but most likely your 'waste ink' tank is full. You need to either get the printer serviced or reset the ink counter. You can find more information and link to a reset utility here:

Hi there. I managed to find an excellent resource that should help you solve your problem. Try the suggestions given here http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/inkjet/24337 i would start with "holding both paper and ink buttons then powering on untill the paper light flashes and then holding the ink button for 10 secs" Let me know if this helped. D.

both the paper/ink buttons blinking in red simultaneously means fatal error. Use AP for figure the latest fatal error code. Btw, i have Service manual for 1400. Contact me at aicaxz(at)yahoo(dot)com

Your problems states that photos are being blank when trying to print it.
Please try these tips.

• Make sure your printer is selected in the Print window or in the Macintosh Page Setup and Print windows.
• The print head nozzles may need cleaning.
• Make sure your printer software settings are set for the paper size you're using.

Plus,i also wanted to know if you can print ordinary documents or print a test page.

Ink dries up. Need to put in new genuine epson cartridges.

the problems are :-

• cartridges are not recognised or installed
• there is a paper jam.

It's must blinking alternately. Need to reset waste ink counter. SSC latest vers. doesn't support for this type. Try to find adjusment program at indoreset.blogspot.com.

ONCE PRINTE COMMAND IS GIVEN PAPER IS ROLLED IN AND THEN PAPER JAM RED LIGHT BLINKS. CAN NOT PRINT ANYTHING.BUT NOZZLE CHECK PRINT CAN BE PRINTED.
