The Hisense HX32N2176H will display an HD signal of 1366x720 with the HDMI input. (Any resolution above 480 (lines of pixels) is considered HD.) However, this isn't a full-HD (1080) capable TV. See https://www.hificorp.co.za/hisense-32in-81cm-hdr-led-tv-hx32n2176 for the specifications. Click on the Technical Details tab.
When you are in display options and can see monitor 1 and 2... when you select 2 you should be able to adjust the display resolution there.
If you cannot do that for some reason, try the video card software that is specific to your video card as there might be better options in there for managing monitor 2.
Check the connections to the TV, try to double check if the input source is good and does not carrry any video noise. the next thing would be a fault within possible with the drive, a screen failure or a processing fault..
your dvd is set to 480p. if it is a convertable dvd player set it to 1080i. the tv sets itsef to whatever the dvd player displays. if not all dvd is 480 to 720 p. blu ray will get you top notch 1080 display.
Try holding the VOL + and VOL - buttons on the TV (not on the remote) down together. You should see a "unlocking buttons" message on screen. This might work. However, I tried it repeatedly, as told to by the Viewsonic "service" rep, and it didn't work for me. Viewsonic is ****, and so is its "service"!
