The most common cause for E100 is the drum unit. At the rear of the drum unit should be a small peg pointing into the machine. This gets broken off. It's purpose is to opperate a laser cut off shield when the drum is removed so to prevent laser exposure. If peg is missing laser will not be detected by the system and give E100. Can be repaired or will require a new drum . Bob from mendit.

E019 means your waste tank is full. In iR1018/iR1020 series copier, waste tank is located at drum unit. First, remove the drum unit from the machine. Second, open the white plastic lid of the waste container. Third, drain the waste. Re-fit the plastic lid of the waste container and re-insert the drum.
Main cause The laser driver/BD PCB is faulty (laser activation failure, BD detection fault). The DC controller PCB is faulty. The image processor PCB is faultly.
This is a laser error and may be bad. Have you recently put in a new drum? I've had other copiers gives this error and it was a bad or old drum. Make sure that the drum has a tab projecting out on the side near the clear quarter sized plug. If this is missing it will not open the laser shutter and may give you this error. Good luck.
