dont worry, friend... just take a back up of your contacts on the memory card.. then take out your memory card from the phone.. go to settings.. click on "restore all to in-built factory settings" your phone will be restarted automatically.. wait a while.. insert the memory card now.. wait a while.. your phone will be now ready to play your lovable tracks..
hi, 5220 is a baseband 5 unit of nokia ,an express music
phone...because of it many function like music player,video etc,its
software is very sensitive...that trouble cannot fix by any reset code
,formatting ,hard reset or factory setting...you need to go to a nokia
care center or expert mobile technician to reprogram your cellphone by
an appropriate software because that phone cannot be DOWNGRADED

The 5220 Xpress Music is a series 40 phone, so you cannot hard reset it yourself.
The
only thing you can do is try to reset the settings to factory defaults
by entering *#7780#. If prompted for your lock code, that will be
Nokia's default 12345 unless you've changed it.
In order to have the phone hard reset, you'll need to take it to a Nokia Care Point.
